Please try to do the activities in the homework help section with your child every night.
Weekly Homework before Christmas:
Monday – Write the capital letters A-Z.
Tuesday – Write the small letters a-z.
Wednesday – Write your first name five times. Identify the letters in your name. Begin helping your child practice writing his or her last name.
Thursday – Count 1-10. Write the numbers 1-10.
Weekly Homework after Christmas:
Monday – Write all letters Aa-Zz. Have your child tell what sound each letter makes.
Tuesday – Count 1-20. Count by 5's to 100. Count by 10's to 100. Write the numbers 1-20.
Wednesday – Have your child read the sight words above then write them on a piece of paper. (Please exclude color words.)
Thursday – Math sheet inside folder.
Every night: Please continue working on learning addresses. Also, have your children work on zipping coats, buttoning pants and tying shoes.
Also be sure and have your child read any and all books sent home in their red reading folder. Your child should read for atleast 20 minutes each night.
